Sydney walked in on me in the bathroom the other day and asked me if I was going pee or poop. I told her that I had to go pee. Then she shook her head and said "your not even trying"...I guess she heard that one from Brian while potty training.
While I was getting my kids and groceries in the car in the Smiths parking lot, I ran into an old friend from California. Dylan was in a hurry to see his friend Victoria so he was not thrilled that I stopped to talk to my old friend. Dylan said "lets go" a few times then finally screamed "Mommy, Lets go" as loud as he could. This was the abrupt end of our conversation. When I got into the car I tried to explain to Dylan that it was not polite to scream at me like that. Dylan informed me that he didn't do it. He said "My brain told my bones and my bones told my skin and my skin told my body and my body told my mouth to say that". I am guessing that was his version of the insanity plea. ha ha.

stinky pits
Sydney has become obsessed with brushing her teeth. When she is done brushing, she wants me to smell her breath to see if it is still stinky. She has just recently learned what deodorant is and that it goes under your arms so that you don't smell bad. She came to me yesterday and wanted to use my deodorant. I told her no so she lifted up her arms so that I could see her armpits and she told me that she had stinky breath....I think she was a little confused but I did let her put on some deodorant.

Today Dylan and Sydney had lots of fun while I was trying to make chili for the ward party. They had been told to play in the playroom. I heard lots of noise but I assumed they were playing. They took two baskets of clean laundry (baskets and all) and threw the clothes off of our 2nd story master bedroom balcony. There were clothes on the roof, in the rain gutters and all over our front lawn. They also took lots of toys (sydneys dolls, strollers, dinosaurs etc) and threw them on top of the clothes. Then they took the game peices from Brian's GO board and threw them on top of everything and in the grass. They are now in time out.

silly kids
The kids love to catch me while I am distracted. Today I was trying to to some RS work on the computer when I heard Dylan and Sydney laughing hysterically. This is never a good sign. Sydney took her blueberry yogurt and pretended to be a bird "pooping" the yogurt all over the floor and up the carpet on the stairs.
Dylan informed me today that Heavenly Father never picks his boogers...NEVER. haha.

Brian getting some air wakeboarding at Lake Powell. He hasn't been wakeboarding for about 4 years. Not bad eh?
